Checks on locum NHS Doctors expose 'Extraordinary lapses'

More than 3,000 patients were treated by a "fake doctor", a man from the Soviet Republic who practised in the UK for 2 years despite being unqualified.

After the General Medical Council struck him off, he then stole the identity of a real doctor and found work at another NHS trust. Levon Mkhitarian created a fictitious CV in the name of a local doctor, a false bank statement, fake letter from a medical surgery and fake energy bill.
