What does it check?

We'll apply to register the individual with the Scottish Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme, The individual will be accepted to the scheme if he or she is not barred from working with children or protected adults.

"This check is only for regulated roles in Scotland involving vulnerable groups (children and protected adults). It is similar to a DBS Enhanced level check but is also similar to a membership scheme. So we either run this ""registration check"" and apply for membership for an individual (if they aren't already a member) or we update their membership of the PVG scheme with details of their new role by running the ""update"" version of the check."
