What does it check?
Using court records, this check will confirm whether the individual is has been involved in any criminal litigation in Nigeria.

Availability
The service is available for both Nigerian nationals and foreign nationals who currently reside in Nigeria or have previously resided in Nigeria.
What does it cover?
All convictions which would be included on a Police Clearance Certificate are covered by the search. However, whilst this option removes the necessity for fingerprints to be supplied, any results are returned in the format of a report and a copy of the certificate is not obtained.
Information may include the following:
- Identity details
- Case number
- Type of offense
- Conviction status
Results
Results are reported as either:
- “No records located”, or
- Report showing validated information as confirmed by the issuing authority
Did you know?
In Nigeria, conviction records are never removed from record, even after the individual’s death.
