This check obtains an individual's credit report from Greece.

What does it check?

We will search the records of a major credit bureau in Greece for the individual's credit file and provide all findings in the form of a comprehensive credit report.

Est. turnaround time

15 - 17 working days

Availability

The search is based on the individual’s Greek tax identification number (TIN) otherwise known as AFM (Αριθμός Φορολογικού Μητρώου) and therefore is only available to individuals who hold this number. Individuals who do not hold an AFM will not have a credit file in Greece and cannot be checked.

What does it cover?

The returned credit report will cover the following information:

  • Default of obligations and mortgages-notations (SAW-SYP)
  • Concentration of grants (SSCH)
  • Risk control (TSEK)
  • Cancelled business contracts (SKSE)
  • Assigned receivables from contracts/certifications of public works (SEPED)
  • Companies from FETK and GEMI (board members, administrators, partners)
  • Lost or stolen identity cards and passports (LDC)
  • Behaviour score
An individual will typically appear in the database if they have taken out a loan (personal, mortgage, auto, consumer finance),  opened a credit card,  used bank financing or instalment credit, acted as a guarantor on someone else’s loan or had a credit facility reported by a regulated financial institution.

Additional Considerations

To proceed with this check, the individual is required to log their consent via an online portal.
