New French Data Protection Act and Implementing Decree Take Force

The French Data Protection Act is now officially being implemented.

The adaption of French law to the new EU data protection framework was conducted in various stages to correct inconsistencies with the new EU data protection framework, to adapt certain procedures before the French Data Protection Authority, and to further specify the rights of individuals with respect to their personal data.
