We'll check to confirm whether an individual's identity document is known to the authorities as being stolen, lost, expired, or invalid.
We'll check to confirm whether a Slovakian identity document is known to the authorities as being stolen, lost, expired, or invalid. The integrity of every background check relies on correctly identifying the individual and mostly this is done by examining government-issued identity documents. If an individual is using real documents but those that were stolen from another person, the background check may be successful but fail to alter that the individual might be impersonating someone else. For this purpose, Slovakia offers us the option of checking if an identification document it issued may have been reported as lost or stolen. This check covers the following documents: • national identity card • passport
