This check establishes whether an individual has gone bankrupt.

What does it check?

This check establishes whether an individual has gone bankrupt.

This check establishes whether an individual has gone bankrupt by searching Japanese court records dating back to 1947. For any matches found, the information returned may include the court name, case filing date, case number, type of record, the individual’s name and the individual’s address.

A full credit check cannot be completed in Japan for employment purposes, as credit bureaus are only permitted to release information to financial institutions for lending purposes. Our Japan Bankruptcy and Civil Litigation products act as the best possible alternative available.
