This service assists an individual in obtaining their Azerbaijani Criminal Record Certificate as well as validates it.

What does it check?

This service assists an individual in obtaining their Azerbaijani Criminal Record Certificate as well as validates it.

This check provides what is referred to as a Certificate of Criminal Record or a Police Clearance Certificate. In Azerbaijan, the Criminal Record Certificate can be requested only by the individual and not by a third party (Subject Access Request). We'll guide and assist the individual in making a Subject Access Request (SAR) for the certificate and validate it. For individuals who have not been convicted of crimes, a Police Clearance Certificate is issued. For those with criminal convictions, a Certificate of Criminal Record will be issued. The following information shall be provided in the certificate concerning any unserved or unexpunged conviction: • date of birth; • place of birth; • date of conviction and name of the sentencing court; • the relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (number and name); • term and type of sentence and the date and basis of release.
