What does it check?
With this check, we'll obtain an individual's driving records and confirm they hold a valid driving licence.
This check confirms the following:
- what licence classes and endorsements the driver holds
- whether there are any conditions on the licence; and
- the status of their licence (eg whether they are disqualified or suspended from driving, or whether their licence is revoked or has expired).
In New Zealand, the accumulation of 100 demerit points leads to an automatic suspension of the driving licence for 3 to 6 months.
