False Job Credentials A Frequent Reality

Where there is heavy competition for jobs job applicants may deceive prospective employers to improve their chances of being offered a job. Deception includes falsification of CVs and academic certificates, exaggeration of skills, lying about age, and more. An employer has a right to accurate information. While this is the general rule, many exceptions exist, particularly where the information in question relates to the employee 's personal circumstances, which some recent court cases have shown.
