Diploma Mills Warning:

A degree or diploma mill is an institution that offers substandard or fraudulent degrees in exchange for payment and very little else. Verifying that a candidate graduated from a diploma mill means as much as checking that the candidate paid for their certificate but are not necessary qualified as such. Therefore Verifile uses Accredibase, an online database of known diploma mills, each time we verify qualifications.

Education checks verify the candidates’ education claims directly with the registry office.

How long does this service take?

Usi ng Verifile’s online system, the university/college will immediately be sent an email or fax form to return. Response times vary, as Verifile is dependent on the institute’s participation. We aim to give you a response within 5 working days — but if we cannot achieve that, we will let you know why.

Secondary Education Checks

What does it check?

• The establishment attended

• Period of attendance

• Qualification type

• All subjects studied

• What grades were achieved

You can use this facility to check high school exams, further education qualifications and professional qualifications.

How long does this service take?

Using Verifile’s online system, the institute will immediately be sent an email or fax form to return. Response times vary, as Verifile is dependent on the establishment's participation. We aim to give you a response within 5 working days — but if we cannot achieve that, we will let you know why.
